That's it from our coverage of match number 39 in DPL! Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Rajarshi Das and scorer/analyst Asraj Khan. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
The final league fixture of the Delhi Premier League between Purani Dilli-6 and East Delhi Riders will be played on 25th August, 7 PM!
South Delhi Superstarz will potentially finish at the 2nd position in the points table with this win. A 5-wicket win over New Delhi Tigers have put them on 13 points and 2nd spot in the table.
Anmol Sharma (Player of the Match): [on his batting] "The wicket was tacky in the beginning but I knew the dew would make the outfield fast and it will make batting easier. If I stayed till the end, I could take the team home.

[on picking the balls to hit] They also wanted me to play a false stroke, attacking with the frontline spinner. I was clear even if I am not able to go big in the powerplay, I will capitalize in the later overs."
Player of the Match: Anmol Sharma
Tejaswi Dahiya (South Delhi Superstarz captain): "(On whether he was happy restricting the Tigers to 168) Definitely, it was a standout performance from the bowlers keeping in mind the conditions which wasn't an easy wicket to bat, so we had to restrict them to a lower score, and we did well.

(On feelings after Anmol's wicket) I felt we had good batting depth, so we wanted to chase it to qualify for a top-two spot. I felt we had the players who could finish the job.

(On Ekansh Dobal) Big man, big show.

(On his own batting performance) I think I just have to bat for a bit longer so that I can finish the gameS for my team. Hopefully in the next matches."
Perfectly Timed Performance: Ankit Dabas
Standout Player of New Delhi Tigers: Lakshay Thareja
