The second round of this Tri-Series has become even more intriguing now. South Africa will take on Zimbabwe tomorrow, with the Chevrons looking to bounce back after their defeat to the Proteas on Saturday and exact their revenge.
What a last-over thriller we have witnessed between these two sides! Heartbreak for the Eagles as they fell agonizingly short by just five runs, but they did put up an incredible fight and took this contest right down to the wire.

Rare Feat: Namibia became the first team in T20I history to have two batters from No. 7 or lower score 50+ in the same innings, with Zane Green (54) and Alexander Busing Volschenk (56) achieving the feat against Zimbabwe today in Windhoek.
Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe Captain): "(A close victory which Zimbabwe needed at the end) Ya. First of all, credit to Namibia for making it a very good game. Namibia Zimbabwe tend to have very good fixtures. So, credit to the Namibia batters with the way they came out with the bat. Nothing to takeaway from them but I thought we were very poor in the end.
(What stood out for his side today?) I thought we batted well. If we can divide our batting innings into four parts, I thought we did well in three of them but it's just that 7-10 phase were we tend to struggle. We failed to score runs but lost a lot of wickets. I thought how Brad (Evans), Burl and Marumani batted on that wicket and took us to that score was an incredible effort. Three boxes ticked out of four which was nice. In terms of our bowling, we did well inside the powerplay. We were okay in that 11 to 14 phase as well but in the death overs we really need to get better.
(What is the thinking moving forward?) Try and win every game that comes our way. We will try to be as good as we can be. I know a lot of emphasis are put in victories and losses but for me, what matters to me is what happens in the day and the opposition overpowers you with the quality they have then so be it. Having said that, I am really grateful that we won the game today but I don't think so we were that good."

Gerhard Erasmus (Namibia Captain): "(On losing a closer encounter today) Yeah, those two guys (Volschenk & Green) got us really close till the end. Obviously, till the 12th over mark, we were right out of the game. We nearly pulled off something special. It showed us that if you can stick around then in the end you can go for it as it's a really nice six hitting ground. That's what the Zimbabwean batters showed us as it's a tough ground to defend in the death overs and especially with a smallish straight boundaries. It's awesome for us from a hosting nation, you know, as guys want to see some runs on what was a good deck. So, all in all, I still think there are some positives to takeaway from this game. There was some special spells. Max Heingo bowled well today. And then obviously at the backend, those two players (Volschenk & Green) nearly pulling it off for us.
(Special innings from the youngsters of Namibia) Yeah, that's the kind of innings that goes with you a long time through your career. Alex Volschenk has done it through the year for us. Today, against a really good opposition, he has really shown his talent. Zane Green has been instrumental in the backend for us in the last two years. Being a senior member of the side and also a wicket-keeper batter, he has really solidified himself in the line-up as a dangerous finisher. He showed all his skills today, scoring in different parts of the ground. He managed to put their field placements under pressure and managed to open up the game for us."
(Special innings from the youngsters of Namibia) Yeah, that's the kind of innings that goes with you a long time through your career. Alex Volschenk has done it through the year for us.
