That's it from our coverage of another brilliant match in Legends League Cricket 2026! Royal Riders Punjab with a brilliant win while chasing. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Manan Mehta and scorer Ashok Dayma. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Asghar Afghan (Royal Riders Punjab Captain): "[on the game] It was a great game. The way Chipli played on this tough wicket was amazing. The way Thisara finished was brilliant.
[on the mid innings chase] Both the captains decided together to bowl only spinners looking at the surface. The teams were short of bowlers and our batters cashed on it."
Thisara Perera (Legend of the Match): "[on the chase] We know that it was a must win game. It was a difficult to chase on this kind of surface. My coach and captain asked me to stay till the last ball and we can go easily.
[on sixes] I waited for the ball to come in my zone. Happy to win the game."

S Sreesanth (Mumbai Spartans Captain): "Thanks to the groundsmen for making the field ready. We had the option to not have a game. It was a very good score. I was making the fast bowlers bowl spin, including me. If there was maybe 1 or 2 overs of medium pace, we could have done something but didn't risk us getting injured.
[on opening the batting] Just because Walton wasn't there and it was a 15-over game. I hoped to get some big hits. Well done Bharat Chipli. It didn't even look like the wicket with low bounce and slow turn. I want to wish Manan Sharma happy birthday."
11:20 PM IST, Local Time: The Royal Riders Punjab script a come-from-behind victory against a strong Mumbai Spartans side in the 15-overs per-side fixture in Legends League Cricket 4.0.
RRP skipper Asghar Afghan won the toss and elected to bowl first. His opposite number S Sreesanth decided to open the innings but could hit only 4 off 10. His opening partner Bharat Chipli smashed 9 sixes and 4 fours to score 80 in 33 balls. Angelo Perera was the pick of the bowlers for RRP with 3/23.
