Time for the post-match Presentation!
Sheldon Cottrell: "That was the plan to get early wickets as it is important in any format of the game. I just pitched it up and today I was successful. Today it was swinging and it worked. We're a good team to be honest. Everyone is happy. So we better take it from there and enjoy. Its obviously my pleasure playing in the T10."
An easy eight-wicket victory for the Morrisville Samp Army with 14 balls to spare. Just like the second game of the day, the bowling side set up the victory. Sheldon Cottrell, in particular, starred with three wickets in the very first over as Delhi Bulls could only manage a 94-5!
Chasing that, Johnson Charles started in an aggressive fashion as he smashed Waqas Maqsood although the latter did get rid of Moeen Ali for a duck. Charles continued to motor on by taking 18 runs off the second over bowled by Shiraz Ahmed. At the other end, the decision to promote George Garton didn't quite work out with the southpaw eventually bowled by Richard Gleeson in the 5th over. In came David Miller and the South African started to find the fence with ease as he provided superb company for Charles to take the Samp Army home!
7.4 S Ahmed to J Charles
1 Length delivery on off, Charles flicks it to fine-leg for a single. So, that completes a comfortable eight-wicket victory for Morrisville Samp Army!
