Vancouver Anchors can be proud of their efforts. They had a huge target to chase and it was indeed a daunting task. But Martin Andersson and Moeen Ali made things easier for them. Their 105-run stand set the tone of the chase and eventually they come out victorious with two balls to spare. Montreal Royal Tigers will be keen to bounce back in their next game.

6:49 AM IST and 6:19 PM Local Time: PHEW! What a thrilling run chase this has been! Vancouver Anchors have completed a dominating victory over Montreal Royal Tigers. Martin Andersson set the tone with his 76 off 24 balls and Moeen Ali, the skipper, anchored the Anchors to bring the victory with a couple of balls to spare.
Montreal Royal Tigers were asked to bat first, but they lost Toby Albert and Brett Hampton (19) inside the powerplay. From 27/2, Ryan Higgins joined Josh Brown, but the former could score only 11. Royal Tigers were down with 75/3 and the pair of Brown and Russell changed the game completely. Brown initially did not get to face too many deliveries, but dealt in sixes later. He hit 13 sixes in his 33-ball stay to score an unbeaten 88. Andre Russell played a scintillating cameo of 27 from 8 balls to take the score to 160/3 in 10 overs.
For Vancouver Anchors, Ben Sanderson, Chris Jordan and Lewis Gregory took a wicket each.
