So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj, my co-commentator, Probuddha and our scorer Bishal Mandal. Stay tuned to our coverage of several other T20 matches going on currently which includes the second T20I between Zimbabwe and Ireland, the SA T20 match between Pretoria and Sunrisers while the BPL game between Chattogram and Dhaka is also set to begin shortly. Until next time, adios!
Kane Richardson has been named as the 'Player of the Match'.
So, a thrilling victory for the Melbourne Renegades as they came from behind to steal the game by six runs. The Stars, on the other hand, will be gutted as they were cruising at one point. The opening duo of Joe Clarke and Thomas Rogers looked in pristine touch from the word go with the duo putting on 33 runs in the four-over Powerplay. The scoring rate only increased with Joe Clarke reaching his fifty off 27 balls while the Stars had 82-0 on the board.

The game started to turn when Fawad Ahmed gave the opening breakthrough by sending back Thomas Rogers. Soon, Clarke also fell as he heaved a length delivery from Kane Richardson to deep mid-wicket where Jake Fraser-McGurk took a superb catch. Hilton Cartwright started aggressively but he holed out to deep mid-wicket off Ruwantha Kellepotha's leg-spin. The collapse happened during the Power Surge which fetched just 12 runs for the cost of two wickets. The powerful Beau Webster also started well with Nick Larkin rotating the strike at the other hand. However, Webster played one shot too many as he struck a full delivery straight down Will Sutherland's throat off Tom Rogers' bowling. Thereafter, the experienced pair of Fawad and Richardson bowled tightly to concede a combined six runs off two overs.

This brought down the equation to 15 required off 12 balls with Stars still holding the upper hand. This is when Tom Rogers changed the game by conceding just three runs while also dismissing Clint Hincliffe. In the end, Sutherland delivered a superb final over to make sure Nick Larkin and Brody Couch fell short of the target.

0 THE RENEGADES WIN!! What a superb recovery to steal this match at the death. Yorker wide of off, Larkin tries to carve but he can't get bat on ball. So, the team in red bag the match by a margin of six runs!
19.5 W Sutherland to N Larkin
4 Full and wide of off, Larkin reaches out and throws his bat. The ball goes off the outside-edge and flies over short third for a boundary. Stars and Larkin need seven runs off the final ball.

19.4 W Sutherland to L Wood
W Full outside-off, Wood squeezes it back to the bowler who jumps high to grab the ball with one hand. Wood tries to steal a single but Sutherland remains calm by running back to the non-striker's end to dislodge the balls. Nick Larkin will be on strike with the Stars needing 11 off two balls.
