They grab their third win. MI London, on the other hand, remain winless in this year's competition as the search for their first win continues.
Chasing 93, the Super Giants got off to a solid start. Skipper Meg Lanning and Smriti Mandhana played beautifully at the top of the order and added 35 at the end of the powerplay. MI London continued to struggle with the ball as they failed to build any pressure on the opening pair.
Mandhana and Lanning put 73 between them before the former fell on 34 on the 53rd ball. Amelia Kerr dismissed Richa Ghosh (4) and Paige Scholfield (0) on two consecutive balls. Lanning fell after a well-made 43 before Mady Villiers finished off the chase by remaining unbeaten on 12.
The Super Giants chased down the total in just 72 balls with six wickets in hand. With this win, they have certainly boosted their Net Run Rate. For MI London, Kirstie Gordon (2/14) and Amelia Kerr (2/21) grabbed two wickets each but they failed to defend the total.
