Before the final league fixture, Vancouver Anchors will take on Toronto Sixers in the final of the Women’s Canada Super60 2026. Do switch tabs to follow live-action. For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and scorer Bishal Mandal. Bye bye.
Mississauga Masters register their fifth win in a row and remain unbeaten at the end of the league stage. They are on a roll as they brush aside Toronto Sixers today, who suffer their third loss this season.
David Wiese (Mississauga Masters Captain): "[Happy with how they are going at the moment?] Yeah, our bowlers have been excellent. After the first game, we have tweaked a bit and found what lengths to bowl here.
[On their top order] That's the beauty of it. It's not just two or three batters eating up the balls. Everyone has had an impact on the game and that's what you want when you enter the business end of the tournament.
[Selection headache after Saad's performance today?] 100%. He was phenomenal out there. People said spinners won't have an impact in this tournament. He definitely put a hand up. The coach and the captain will have a say in that."
Kaleem Sana (POTM): "[You must be very happy at the moment?] Oh yeah, obviously. In the first few matches, I was trying to figure out how to pick the ball, but luckily, I did well today.
[You're the most economical bowler in the competition. No one is going for fewer runs than you, but are you happy now to add some wickets as well?] Yeah, because as a fast bowler, everyone has their own strengths. So, especially on these kinds of wickets, some bowlers, when they're bowling a bit short, will feel like they're going to get wickets. But sometimes I feel like you can get away with bowling very full here, but my strength is different.
[On the catch– how did he do it?] Because my son is here, I don't know, I'm just very excited. So, yeah, one more thing—I just want to dedicate this Man of the Match award to my son."
Player of the Match: Kaleem Sana
