20:40 IST: It was the 16th Inter-Provincial Cup ODI, here at Dublin, Its game between Host Leinster Lightning up against Northern Knights.

Leinster Lightning won the game by 54 runs.
Knights won the toss asked the host to bat first. For the host Barry McCarthy Made maiden 100 at no.9 position and he also added 88 run stand with Gavin Hose and He finished his innings with 110 runs which included 10 sixes and 4 fours. He was well supported by no.8 and no.10 batters. Initially LL started well Gavin and Simi Singh they added 51 of 49 deliveries. later they lost some quick wickets in the middle which slowed them down a bit and then McCarthy pulled a magic in the tail end and they managed to Score 315 in their respect 50 overs.

For NK Matthew Humphreys bowled and good spell and he took 3 wickets by just giving 43 runs of his 10 over quota and Thomas Mayes took 3 wickets.

NK Batting Lost the wicket in continues session and that costed them. Neil Rock 81 of 58 and Cade Carmichael 43 of 35 managed to add 109 run for the 5th wicket. Once Rock departed the NK batters didn’t had their chance. All fall cheaply and they lost the game.

For LL Captain George Dockrell took 5 wickets for just 49 runs of his 6.5 over spell. And the batting hero Barry McCarthy managed to pick 2 wicket. In the end these two players made sure their teams wins this game.
