The original target was 229 but we lost a lot of overs due to rain and the revised target was 129 in 10 overs.
Kent lost Muyeye early for just 1. Alex Blake played a good cameo of 30 off 13. George Linde scored 13 off 4. Jordon Cox fought till the end and played brilliant innings of 37 off 16 but couldn't take his team over the finishing line!
Coming to the first innings, Sussex scored a mammoth total of 228/7 in the first innings. Tom Clark(47 off 23) gave his team a quick start after they lost 2 quick wickets and stitched 71 runs partnership with Ravi Bopara(108 off 53) who played exceptionally well today to bring up his century in just 48 deliveries! Good little cameos from Burgess and Prentice took Sussex past 200!
Mathew Quinn and George Linde took 2 wickets each for Kent.
