After a full washed-out day yesterday, the final was postponed to today. The Jets won the toss and opted to bowl first. Amidst the match getting interrupted several times, the Jets' bowlers had complete control of this final. Apart from Kedar Jadhav (32) no one really stood tall for the Tuskers and were reduced to 80/8 in 16 overs before the rain hit hard for the third time on the reserve day. Kunal Thorat scalped two wickets in the Powerplay, while Pradeep Dadhe (4-0-24-3), Nikit Dhumal (4-1-12-2) and Vijay Pawale (2-0-8-1) completely destroyed Kolhapur Tuskers.
Once the rain came back for the third time, the game didn't get a chance for any further resumption and as per the norms, the Jets were crowned champions of the inaugural MPL.
