Naushad Sheikh ( Raigad Royals Captain ) - " In a such rain curtailed game, our batters did really well especially Ajay who came as an impact player. it is disheartening for us to not qualify for the playoffs marginally. There are a lot of positives from the tournament, our bowling unit was on point almost in every game, our batting also clicked in some patches. We will sit down and then discuss to what we can do better in the season."
Ajay Borude (Player of the match): "I always bat lower down the order and have the experience of finishing games. We had a camp 2 months back so that helped me. My coaches have helped me a lot. It is a very good experience of playing in MPL 2024."

Rahul Tripathi (Kolhapur Tuskers Captain) : "Yes, tough loss I feel. We ticked all the boxes. We had to finish the game calmly. Better to be in top 2. But the road will be tough for us but we are in it. Good and happy with it. Happy with what happened throughout the tournament and now should have finished it off today. The boys are doing well and executing the plans. We did well except the 9th over. Tough for Umar. We win as a team and lose as a team. Fans are most important for MPL. They give us the support and blessings for us watching at late night. Hats off them. I think a little tough loss today. In a day's time we will play the playoffs. The boys have fought well today and hoping to do better in the coming games. I played well in a short game well. Left over is that I did not finish the game in the end. Credit for my game play goes to Abhishek Nayar and he deserves all the credit. Thank You."
