Irfan Pathan (Konark Suryas Odisha Captain)- "I think we were at least 20 runs short. We kept losing wickets in bulk and if we had a couple of more partnerships then it would have been different. We bowled well but Gurkeerat batted really well. The seam wasn't proper and if we had a drier ball then it would have been better. No excuses though. We need to win our final game and hopefully we will do it in Kashmir where I spent a lot of time. I was mentor there and the people are wonderful."

Vinay Kumar got a promotion up in the order and got out for golden duck. Pathan brothers scored 7 runs each in their innings. But it was Dilshan Munaweera whose innings helped the Odisha-based franchise to go over the 100-run mark.
