Time to conclude the coverage from the Legends League Cricket 2024 fixture between Konark Suryas Odisha and Toyam Hyderabad. For now, this is the trio of Saptak Sanyal, Ayan Chatterjee and Soumarya Dutta signing off alongside our scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal. Good night.
Gurkeerat Singh Mann (Player of the Match and Toyam Hyderabad Captain): "I think we actually knew that since there was rain yesterday. We knew it will be dry and get the gaps. So, I just went there and timed it and got the gaps to score runs.

You enjoy the game and we are having close games and they are doing well. The bowling is clicking and batters are getting into it. Yes, we have 7-8 options and Rikki is in the mix and we love playing on these wickets.

Everyone has been positive in the dressing room. We played well and knew that we can come back in the game and tournament. I think we did well in the end. Happy with the win and hope to carry it forward in Srinagar."
Legend of the Match: Gurkeerat Singh Mann
Game Changer of the Match: Dilshan Munaweera
Time for the presentations.
Irfan Pathan (Konark Suryas Odisha Captain)- "I think we were at least 20 runs short. We kept losing wickets in bulk and if we had a couple of more partnerships then it would have been different. We bowled well but Gurkeerat batted really well. The seam wasn't proper and if we had a drier ball then it would have been better. No excuses though. We need to win our final game and hopefully we will do it in Kashmir where I spent a lot of time. I was mentor there and the people are wonderful."
11:33 PM IST and Local Time | Toyam Hyderabad have kept their nerves and finished the chase with 4 wickets and 10 balls to go.

Earlier in the day, Konark Suryas Odisha came to bat first on a tricky wicket where the spinners had all the help. Richard Levi, Jesse Ryder, Kevin O'Brien, the entire top three of them got out for cheap scores. However, Dilshan Munaweera rotated the strike well to keep the scoreboard ticking from one end. Vinay Kumar got a promotion up in the order and got out for golden duck. Pathan brothers scored 7 runs each in their innings. But it was Dilshan Munaweera whose innings helped the Odisha-based franchise to go over the 100-run mark. The former Sri Lankan international contributed a run-a-ball 51 hitting 3 fours and a maximum.

Ravi Jangid and Bipul Sharma took a couple of wickets for Toyam Hyderabad. Nuwan Pradeep, Monty Panesar, Shivakant Shukla and Stuart Binny took one wicket each.

Coming to chase the target, Toyam Hyderabad started well with Chadwick Walton and George Worker saving their wicket and maintaining the asking rate. Gurkeerat Singh Mann came in at number 3 and he continued his innings despite the lack of support from the other end. Shaun Marsh(3), Rikki Clarke(1), Peter Trego(7), Ravi Jangid(2) failed to play the second fiddle to their skipper. Mann contributed 52 runs from 50 balls hitting 3 fours and 2 maximums on his way to secure the victory for his side. Bipul Sharma remained unbeaten on 7 to give him the company.

Dilshan Munaweera excelled with the ball too after his showdown with the bat as he took 3 wickets for 26 runs from his 4 overs. Diwesh Pathania and Pravin Tambe took one wicket each.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentations.
