Shivam Mavi | Man of the Match: "Really happy to perform on this wicket. The pan was simple, to bowl wicket-to-wicket and not give much room to the batters. When I was playing Under-19 cricket, I learnt how to bowl a slower one, when to bowl a perfect yorker. I have learnt a lot here at KKR. Shivam Dube's wicket was pretty special to me. As a bowler, it feels nice to trap someone LBW."

Lockie Ferguson: "I tried to bowl my natural length and it worked for me. Credit has to go to the batters who batted beautifully. Happy with my health at the moment, the KKR medical team is outstanding. Mavi bowled according to his plans and it has been a pleasure to see him grow over the years."
Sanju Samson: "I think this was a much better surface to bat as compared to the surface that we got in the last game. 171 runs were definitely chaseable on this wicket with the batting line-up we have. We wanted to execute whatever we planned, but we didn't do it today. I am very proud of the character we showed. We won some tough games. We lost some easy games. We wanted to do well mindset wise. We need to play a better standard of cricket."
All smiles in the KKR camp who were hardly troubled by the Royals and Eoin Morgan's men delivered a great knockout punch to end Royals' dismal IPL 2021 campaign. Chasing a tricky 172 on a sluggish track here at Sharjah, Rajasthan Royals were never in the hunt. They lost wickets at regular intervals and at one stage were tottering at 7 for 35. The game was done and dusted at that point only, but Tewatia sparked a ray of hope as he decided to break the shackles and target the KKR spinners. He played a lone hand and that was it for the Royals. No one else contributed and as a result they were bundled out for just 85. The star with the ball was Shivam Mavi, who was simply unplayable and bagged four crucial wickets under his kitty..

That's it, the game is done and dusted and KKR have recorded a massive, massive 87-run win and have ALMOST stormed into the playoffs. A clinical performance from KKR, who executed their plans to perfection and deservingly got the win here.
