What an eventful night it was, being Buttler's second century of the season, Shreyas Iyer's brutal on-slaught hitting, or Yuzi Chahal's brilliant hat-trick and the fifer! Yuzvendra Chahal is the Man of the Match: (Laughs on the hattrick celebration) It was like a meme in the 2019 world cup. I had to take wickets in that over to change the result of the match. Felt really good that it went my way. I planned to bowl wide and mixed things up. I worked with coaches after I learned the size of the boundaries. In my mind, I knew pat was thinking of Googly. So I didn't want to take any chance and just wanted to bowl a dot ball. My googly was coming out well and sent it down to Venkatesh Iyer.
Sanju Samson: "It did get a little bit tense, but that's IPL, it gets interesting and intense, things get very busy, it's important to stay calm and believe in yourself. There are some things which have to be used at the right time, you need to understand the momentum and mindset and slow down the game to affect it in a positive manner. I respect KKR, they are a very solid team, we never thought we were in the game but a few wickets and we were back. I don't think I need to talk much about Jos, the whole world knows about his prowess. I feel I need to mention Ashwin's carrom ball and Devedutt Paddikal for hanging around with Jos Buttler. It was really commendable to see Obed McCoy thrive under pressure in the game."
