That concludes the presentation and that also wraps up our coverage of the second semi-final. The SA20 Final is ready to roll. Sunrisers Eastern Cape will collide with Pretoria Capitals on Saturday in the inaugural SA20 Final.  Do join us for the finale and stick with us for all other cricketing actions across the globe. For now, this is Megh Mandaliya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide, and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Cheers and have a good night!
Aiden Markram (Player of the match and Sunrisers Eastern Cape Skipper): "Yes, that was a great day for us. We tried our best today and fortunately came out on the right side today. Never really thought I would get to three figures, especially batting at four. Unbelievable feeling.

It was tight at the end. I was also a bit nervous. These are things we can work on and improve. But credit also goes to the guys. Day off tomorrow and a bit of planning on Saturday morning. We have made some plans for the Finals and hopefully, we can get them right."
Faf du Plessis (Joburg Super Kings Skipper): "Look it was going really well. The last four overs and there were four beamers that took the game away from us. 30 odd runs were scored of them. Reeza was struggling with his hamstring and he had a clear plan and he showed what Reeza Hendricks can do.

Disappointing. If you don't score at big games, it's of no use. That's what I pride myself on. But that's cricket. Sometimes it goes your way and sometimes it doesn't. We were a little off in the back end of the first innings. The hands get slippery and bowl fuller than expected. But the no balls made us pay.

Thank you so much for coming out. We are playing at the Pretoria and you can see so much of yellow in the stands."
12:35 AM IST | Sunrisers Eastern Cape continue their dream run in the competition, and they now edge nearer to the silverware. They have thwarted Joburg Super Kings by 14 runs in the second semi-final, and the Aiden Markram-led Eastern Cape will now lock horns with Pretoria Capitals in the inaugural SA20 Final at the Wanderers.

In pursuit of a hefty total of 214, the Joburg Super Kings started on the worst possible note as the key man Faf du Plessis departed on the first ball of the innings. That was soon followed by a huge scalp of in-form Leus du Plooy 0(6), who was outplayed by Marco Jansen.

Gerald Coetzee, who was promoted up the order, then joined forces with Reeza Hendricks and the duo stabilized the innings. The right-hander Reeza attained some fortunate boundaries and got to his half-century. However, the golden arm of Roelof van der Merwe broke the 52-run stand between the duo by uprooting Coetzee for 12(17).

The Joburg Super Kings were tottering at 99/4 at 13.1 overs when Donavon Ferreira entered the fray. The right-hander swatted a quickfire 20(9) and created a slender chance but it was Roelof van der Merwe once again who brought the Eastern Cape back into the game by dismissing Ferreira.

Following Ferreira’s wicket, the Super Kings required 64 from the last three overs and the target proved a little too much for Hendricks to chase down alone. Nonetheless, Hendricks orchestrated a scintillating 96(54), including 11 fours and 4 maximums.
Romario Shepherd also chipped in with a quickfire 38*(14) but was unable to get his team over the line. Roelof van der Merwe was once again the pick of the bowlers for Sunrisers and ended his stint on 2/23.

Earlier in the day, after losing a couple of early wickets, Aiden Markram and Jordan Hermann then got together and stitched a much-needed partnership of 99 runs before Hermann departed for 48(36). However, the right-handed Markram kept marching on and brought up a magnificent century. His 100(58), including 6 fours and 6 maximums cruised the Eastern Cape past 200. Tristan Stubbs 20(11) and Jordan Cox 18*(6) also chipped in with important cameos. Lizaad Williams was the only successful bowler for the Super Kings and he ended his stint with the figures of 4/36. Stick around for the post-match presentation!

19.6 O Baartman to R Shepherd
6 SIXXX!!!! That won't be enough as the Sunrisers seal a spot in the final of the SA20 2023. Baartman bowls it right in the slot outside off, Shepherd stands still and tonks it over long off for a maximum. The Sunrisers Eastern Cape beat the Joburg Super Kings by 14 runs to enter the final.
19.5 O Baartman to S Makhanya
1 Fuller delivery on the stumps, Makhanya drives it straight and Baartman stops it in his followthrough. He tries to flick it onto the stumps at the non-striker's end but misses. The batters take a run.
