The CPL juggernaut continues. We fly back to the Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad tomorrow. Trinbago Knight Riders take on the Barbados Tridents. Do join us for live action at 5:30 AM IST on 29th August (8 PM Local Time, 28th August).
The Kingsmen arrive at St Kitts and own the stage brilliantly. They have two brilliant overseas prospects in Saim Ayub and Hunain Shah. The biggest positive for them was that the win came without Andre Russell being in the side. His entry would only strengthen the team. For the Patriots, their highly spoken about top 3, have under delivered. That is what is restricting them from going forward in the tournament. Can they find a way to fix that?
Rovman Powell (Jamaica Kingsmen Captain): "[What pleased you most about tonight's win?] I think one of our overseas players stood up and won a game for us. You know, it is good to see Saim get a hundred. Previously, he's been a good performer in CPL and it is good to see that he come with and he continued that form.
[On his bowling plans?] I think that's the benefit of watching them bowl on that wicket. You know, we know that it is a good wicket. We know that there's a lot of a runs on that wicket. But having said that, we also feel as a bowling group that if you have a plan you can execute. You know we came up with a clear plan at the halfway mark. We know that if we can bowl 24 yorkers whenever we are under pressure as a team, we can do that. Hunain led us beautifully in the bowling.
[Flying out tomorrow?] Yeah, we are flying out tomorrow and then we play the very next day. It is a tough schedule and sometimes it is a schedule, as players, we say that it makes no sense. Teams are already there in Trinidad and they are not playing the next game, but we have to fly and play. When you look at it, that don't really make no sense. Players can get injured and those sort of things."

Jason Holder (St Kitts & Nevis Patriots Captain): "[Could they have batted first after winning the toss?] No thoughts of that. We just have to better. I am disappointed on the way we went about our batting. At the halfway stage I felt they were on par if anything, 15-20 short. But the way we went about our batting was not good enough. We need to take responsibility of our actions on how we are going to go about it. We need to set the game up better. If you look at how the game ended, we were well within our reach to win the game.
[On using just 5 bowlers] I think the bowlers did a good job. It is a ground where you expect boundaries to be scored. Each and every bowler did well and held their nerve. At the halfway stage as I said they were just around par and maybe below par. We just didn't bat well enough. We need to take responsibility for that. I do not want to put it on the bowlers. They have done an outstanding job so far in the competition. We just need some runs.
[On any changes to be made before their upcoming game] We definitely need to sit down and look at our combinations and see if we can do something to make a difference. We have played 5 games so far and have one win. We need to change something."

[First time hitting 8 sixes in a T20] Nothing much, I think, I just played with the flow. Some planning, like what to do in the middle, what bowler to hit and what not to. Going sensible, I have teammates who are expert in hitting sixes and it makes it easier for me as well.
[On his bowling] Bowling is one thing, I tell my teammates not to expect too much from me. I am going to enjoy that, becasue I take too much pressure in my batting so I am just enjoying my bowling.
[On his comeback from injury] It is not in our hands. It is totally uncontrollable to get an injury. To get back stronger is in control so I like to be positive all the time."

Player of the Match: Saim Ayub
8:53 AM IST, 11:23 PM Local Time: Jamaica Kingmen win by 11 runs! This has been a superb bowling performance from the Jamaica Kingsmen. Yes, Dasun Shanaka did give them a mini scare at the backend but on the whole, they have owned St Kitts today with great flair. They were in trouble with the bat initially, however, once they bailed themselves out, there was no looking back. It all just went in the right direction.
The St Kitts & Nevis Patriots won the toss and elected to bowl first. Naseem Shah struck twice in his first 2 overs as he reduced the Kingsmen to 12/2. They were in no position at the 10 over mark with 68-4 on the board. However, a scintillating 102 from Saim Ayub and valuable contributions from Rovman Powell (21) and Keemo Paul (25), led a comeback to remember. They scored 114 in the back 10 and pushed the score to 182/7 at the end of 20 overs. The pick of the bowlers for the Patriots were Wanindu Hasaranga (2/18), Naseem Shah (2/35) and Obed McCoy (2/43).
The chase did not start on the best note for the Patriots. They lost Kyle Mayers in the very first over for 8 after he tried to hit one ball against the wind. Johnson Charles met the same fate after he struggled for his 14. Kevin Wickham played a poor shot and was in the hut for just 1. The Patriots were struggling at 42/3 inside the powerplay. A struggling 9 off 14 from Mikyle Louis did not help the cause as the Patriots further sunk to 64/4. That is when Andre Fletcher gave flashes of his best and along with Jason Holder as the pair added 48 for the 5th wicket.
