For now, this is Saptak Sanyal, signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Arijit Kundu and AkshayaKrishna Polya, and the scorer/analyst of this game Paras Yadav. Good night.
Tomorrow we have a double-header Monday. Kathamandu Gurkhas and Karnali Yaks will lock horns in the afternoon game starting from 12:15 PM IST (12:30 PM Local Time). In the evening game, starting from 4:45 PM IST (5 PM Local Time), Sudurpaschim Royals will face Chitwan Rhinos. Do join us for the live coverages.
Both Pokhara Avengers and Janakpur Bolts fought tooth and nail till the last over, but it is Bolts who kept their nerves and got the victory. Two sides are separated by a thin margin of 9 runs. With this victory, the Bolts move to the second position with four points, while the Avengers are yet to open their account in this competition after two games.
Harmeet Singh (Janakpur Bolts Captain): "(Couple of thunderbolts from the Bolts) I think no game in Nepal is easy. There is always entertainment and you always will have to fight tooth and nail every game. I think god willing we are on the right side. Fighting for the 1% has been the team talk.
(On having one of the best spin attacks in NPL season 3) I do not want to be controversial, but we do have experience and we have been rotating our bowlers very well. Staying on the field, sharing experiences and being involved in all the bowling changes gives me a lot of support.
(On batting at number 4 today) It was strategic. Left and right combination and it was spinning big. So we had to keep the game moving so we had to keep the runs going. Jimmy was in the back end and that was strategic."

Kushal Bhurtel (Pokhara Avengers Captain): "(You felt the chase was on when both the Bipins were in the middle?) Yes the chase was always on. Even with Karunaratne and Bipin (Acharya), one partnership would have made the scenario different. I think we gave around 15 runs extra.
(Three changes today. Is it fair to say that you are still trying to find the best combination?) Absolutely right. We are trying to find the right combination. Today we went with more all-rounders. I think we still have five more games. We will try to do our best in the next match.
(On Shakib Al Hasan's spell) Absolutely he is a legend of the game. His bowling was great, not only in today's match, but also in previous match. His batting is very useful for these wickets. He will come back with the bat.
(You fancy number three or like the opening position sometimes?) No no it was a team plan to bat at number 3. Because the plan was that I have to bat till 15th or 16th over. That did not work."

Trit Raj Das (Player of the Match): "(What is it to bat with Moeen Ali? What was he telling?) He was not telling much. But he told me that sometimes it is alright to play a few dot balls. I was not going for big shots after playing dot balls. Just tried to on the crease and wait for the loose balls.
(So he was a calming factor. Batting with him must have helped you to grow in confidence) Yeah yeah. He was telling me to calm down and you do not need to hit everything. So I just played it.
(Were the spinners a bit difficult to play on this surface?) Yes in this kind of wickets, you can never set on the wicket. So when runs were not coming, I was telling my teammates to calm down and it will come eventually.
(Happy that the team management shown faith in your abilities?) Yes the team backs me. I just applied myself to the situation."
