That's the end of the 2nd Women's ODI encounter between Ireland Women and Sri Lanka Women. Ireland Women lead the 3 Match ODI Series 2-0 with a game to spare.

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of co-commentator Anirudh Modi who, along with scorer/analysts Dushyant Madhukar Kumar brought all the actions of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Orla Prendergast (Ireland): "We knew that they got a lot of big wickets at the top of the order, and it was something we wanted to expose and got that quick wickets. Credit to the partnership they built too, but we managed to win.

They were charging the whole time really, and we just needed one big wicket with Aimee bowling in tandem, and once we got that we would be back in the game.

The depth we have created in the last few years is huge, Leah was incredible today and others contributed well, each game is huge. I enjoyed captaincy today, it comes with a lot of challenges that I haven't faced in the past but it's a good experience."
Chamari Athapaththu (Sri Lanka Women Captain) : "Actually I feel we didnot bat well in the last 10 overs. Two run outs and some poor shots were really disappointing from us.

Yeah definitely we were on top of the game in the run chase but we need to improve in our decision making because if we don't at the earliest we might lose the final game of the series as well. We have to improve in our bowling and fielding too."
Leah Paul (Player of the Match): "I find myself in a new role in the middle order but I just wanted to build a partnership and then I got to bat with my friend Rebecca and that was nice.

You can see that confidence, and we know each other's game really well and we also have a bit of fun in the middle. We were happy with potentially a few more but we knew if we bowl well, we can defend it."
