Chamari Athapaththu (Sri Lanka Women Captain): "(On Bristol being her happy hunting ground) I love Bristol. I score most of my runs over here, especially in England. Actually, I played my natural game. My teammates were reliant on me and as a captain, as a leader, I always tried to lead from the front and that's what I did today.

(On her bowlers) Actually, young Mithali bowled really good as well as the rest of the bowlers. Whole bowling unit did an amazing job and I am really happy with the bowling unit.

(On Ireland defeating West Indies to help Sri Lanka in the points table) Yes, please Gaby (laughs).

(How has been the tournament so far for her?) Actually, we have enjoyed our tournament so far here in England. We won two games, one more game left. We want to play our best game against Scotland. We can't control the other results. Unfortunately we lost against West Indies. We are in a bit of trouble now but we will keep smiling and play our best cricket.

(Is she liking the England weather?) Yes, definitely. It's same like Colombo. Bristol is same like Colombo at the moment."

Gaby Lewis (Ireland Women Captain): [on her knock] "It was definitely tough. You just got to rebuild and I feel like me and Leah did that well. The main thing was for us to just get a partnership and that was what we focused on. We still want the girls to come in and play freely, we're just waiting for it to come off. We didn't want the girls to retract because that's not what you want as well. We need to still get a winning total on so I am sure the girls will learn and we'll come back better.

[on how tough is the learning curve for Ireland] The level has gone up but it makes you hungrier as a cricketer. After every World Cup you go back and you go, we're not far off like how close we were to beating New Zealand and how well we have played in patches, it's just about coming together and that does drive you on to get better and that's what we're looking to do before Saturday.

[on Chamari's knock] She's a world class player and definitely one that you need to get out or else it'll happen what happened today. But a brilliant knock and she definitely did what the team needed.

[on what can Ireland produced in their last game] A win. We beat them in the tri-series, the belief is still there in the squad. It's about going back and rectifying our mistakes where we went wrong today. Same ground, same time so hopefully we can have some good conversations on how it's turning around for Saturday."

Chamari Athapaththu (Player of the Match): "(On her innings) Bristol is very familiar for me as I have got runs whenever I have played here but unfortunately in the last game, I got out early. So, I was little bit worried about that game but we won today, that's the most important thing as a player and as a captain.

(Did she decide to attack straightaway from ball one, keeping in mind of the NRR?) Yeah, definitely because we needed to improve our NRR. So, I just played my natural game. My game is to always attack and I tried my best.

(On her bowling unit) Actually, our bowlers bowled really well today especially, young Mithali. She was amazing. She has done a really good job as well as the other bowlers. I am really happy on my bowling unit as they did an amazing job today."
