Harsh: The winning streak of Irish Women continues as they won they win this match by 8 wickets. The dominating batting by Prendergast and Delany helped the Irish Women to reach the target in 16.2 over only. Prendergast is the highest scorer of the match as she scores 75 in just 45 balls and played a remarkable inning. Delany on the other hand who came to bat in the fourth number batted sensibly and rotated the strike continuously.
The opening was not that good for Irish Women as they lost their first wicket at the score of 8 runs, just like Scottish Women they also lost their two wickets in the powerplay at the score of 42runs. But since that, it's all about the superb inning played by Prendergast who again proved why she is the best batsman for Ireland across the format. The wicket was a bit slow but there was some bounce which helped the Irish batsman to get on the length of the ball easily.
Well, the Scottish found themselves short in batting as well as bowling as they managed to take two wickets only but Fraser looked quite good as she spun the ball with perfect line and length. She didn't get the support from the other end as other bowlers were quite expensive in their spell.
Still, two more games to go in the series, we can't put out the Scottish from the series as they have potential in their batting lineup. But they need to work on their fast bowling unit to seal the series from dominating Irish Women.
