Milestone
That brings us to the end of our coverage for today. Another comprehensive performance from South Africa as they win by 44 runs and take the series 2-0. Till the next time, it's good night and goodbye from me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty), my fellow commentator Akshaya Krishna Polya along with our scorer Chandan.
David Miller collects the winner's trophy and poses for some photographs.
David Miller, South Africa skipper- "I am fit. I had a back spasm. Had to nurture it and was fit to go today. It's always a good problem to have going into the World Cup. Guys have stood up and have contributed whenever they can. It's really nice to contribute as a captain. I have seen different sorts of areas of the game as a captain with the bowlers we have. I enjoyed the challenge. The way we have played in the last 18 months has been phenomenal. We will be a force in the World Cup but saying that in T20 cricket we have to rise up on the day as we will be facing some great teams in the competition."
Andy Balbirnie, Ireland Captain: "Yeah, it wasn't as close as the scorecard suggests. If it was not for Barry McCarthy's cameo it would have been even worse. We have lost a few early wickets starting with myself, then Stirling and so on. We had kept things tighter till the halfway mark. Our spinners were doing well. But their finishers were too good as they took the attack back onto us. Being behind the eight-ball against a team like South Africa, it is difficult to win. We had a great summer playing against India, New Zealand and now South Africa. Now Afghanistan will come. They are a team that can be dangerous on any given day. It will be fun at the same time it will be a challenge for us as well. We haven't faced Afghanistan for around two years and it will be great summer to look forward to as an Irish player."
Reeza Hendricks- "Look I was eight short of a half-century, the guys played really well. Happy to have contributed and nice to get the win in the end. Trying to keep as simple as possible. I was trying to stick to my strength, not to complicate things. We are just focusing on the ball, playing as it is. Playing ball by ball and the end result will take care of itself."
Reeza Hendricks is the Player of the Series.
Wayne Parnell: "I think, I kept the things simple. It was about doing the basics right. I am happy to be doing the job for the team. I have done it through the normal process. Believe in the process and it will give you good heights. I kept believing in myself. It was a special moment to become the fastest ever South African to take the 50 T20I wickets. Here, each and every success of the individual is being celebrated by the whole team, It gives you confidence and keeps the environment well"
Wayne Parnell is the Player of the Match.
Time for the post-match ceremony.

Arya- It was the Irish skipper Andrew Balbirnie who won the toss and opted to bowl. It was some good bowling by the Irish new ball bowlers as they beat the outside edge on several occasions. Quinton de Kock had a torrid time but Reeza Hendricks managed to get quite a few boundaries away in the powerplay as South Africa was off to 38 in the first five overs. Quinton de Kock was eventually dismissed on 7 after struggling big time.

Hendricks also failed to time the ball as the ball stopped on the surface and the Irish bowlers were all over South Africa. The middle overs were exceptional for Ireland as they squeezed the South African run flow from the 5th over till the 10th over. The spinners were quite magnificent, Gareth Delany in particular. McBrine also bowled brilliantly till his 3rd over but was taken to the cleaners in his final over by Aiden Markram as he was smoked for 26 runs which provided the much-needed momentum to South Africa.

Delany again tilted the scales in Ireland’s favour as he bagged the wicket of Reeza Hendricks and Makram in the same over which reduced the Proteas to 87/4 at the end of the 13th over. From there on, it was all South Africa until the final over. David Miller and Heinrich Klaasen took the Irish bowling apart as the runs started to flow for South Africa.

None of the bowlers were spared as Klaasen raced off to 39 of just 15 deliveries before his dismissal. Miller remained unbeaten on 34 of 20 deliveries as South Africa managed to score 182 in their 20 overs. Joshua Little was quite brilliant in the final over, conceding just 4 runs. Delany was the pick of the Irish bowlers finishing with figures of 2/24 in his 4 overs spell.
