22.26 IST: Bad news, the match has been abandoned due to constant pouring, here at Holkar stadium Indore. India Legends were invited to bat first by New Zealand Legends after they won the toss. The openers Naman Ojha and Sachin Tendulkar gave them a decent start as the duo added 32 runs (in 3.5 overs) for the opening wicket before Ojha was dismissed by Shane Bond. Suresh Raina who came at number three hit a six in his innings of 9* (including a dropped catch). Sachin, on the other hand, was also looking in a great touch (19* off 13 balls). India were 49/1 after 5.5 overs but then the uninvited rain came at around 20.00 IST. Initially, it seemed like it was just a shower and a light drizzle that will pass soon but unfortunately it got heavier. Moreover, the heavy downpour dampened the outfield to such an extent that forced the officials to abandon the match after about two hours of wait.    
Live pictures show Sachin Tendulkar walking with the umpires. It seems there are some wet spots in the outfield that they are worried about.     
22:15 IST: The covers are back on the pitch, but there is no rain at the moment.  
21:09 IST: It has stopped raining at Indore. The covers are coming off slowly.  
20:50 IST: It's still raining in Indore. The whole ground is covered and there is a lot of water in the puddle the covers. Further chances of play look extremely unlikely although we shall wait for more updates from the venue. Stay tuned to our network for more updates.  
20.20 IST: The rain is super heavy and the outfield is in very bad shape at the moment.
20:15 IST: The rain seems pretty heavy not a good sign for now.
