So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj, my co-commentators, Saptak Sanyal and Ninaad Dixit and our scorer, Paras Yadav as we wrap up the coverage of this fixture.
Do take a good rest and comeback for the double-header action in the WCL tomorrow as Australia Champions will take on the West Indies Champions in the afternoon fixture followed by India Champions against Bangladesh Champions.
What a chase from the South Africa Champions as they continue to be the only unbeaten side this season. As far as the India Champions, it is time for them to regroup and comeback stronger against Bangladesh Champions tomorrow night.
AB de Villiers (South Africa Champions Captain):"(On the JP Duminy's innings) Incredible! I get a lot of pressure from those collective team performances, when you come out of the pump specially. I thought with the ball in hand we did well. It was not easy with the dew coming in and the ball getting wet. Indians bowled exceptionally well and did not give us anything to work with. Personally I pulled the trigger a little bit early, but it was a great showdown from the middle order, which showed so much character between Ingram and Duminy.
(What did you think at the half time?) I think 220-230 would have ended up around par when I came off. But when I saw the ball moving around, I thought it will be a tough chase and the balls were getting stuck a little bit with the spinners. Once the ball got a little bit wet, tenth over onwards, maybe it skid a touch more. But that does not take away anything from the partnership under pressure.
(On the upcoming off days) We needed a few off days actually in our age. I have got my family here. We will have some fun and a good lunch tomorrow. We will spend some quality time tomorrow together. Monday we will get the focus back for another back-to-back games. So yeah, very happy with the nice win."
Yuvraj Singh (India Champions Captain):"[Falling short in the end] We knew it is not going to stop these runs as it was going to get wet. We were looking at 220, fell short in the end. We were in the game, took wickets but JP (Duminy) and (Colin) Ingram took the game away from us. It is hard to defend here.
[About the batting performances] Robbie struck it really well, he played well in the last game as well. Stuart stitched a partnership with Yusuf. It happens in T20 cricket.
[On Piyush Chawla's spell] He has been a quality bowler for a long time, never let me down. Happy with the effort from the guys but we need to do better."
JP Duminy (Player of the Match):"(What were you thinking at 46/3?) Just trying to get a few balls in and tried to get a understanding of the pitch. It was a weird wicket. Nipping around a little bit with some turn. At the halfway mark, the conversation was to try to get where they were at the 15th over. That gave us a license for the next five overs. Both left handers were in the middle, ball turning into us and we could have taken those down. Fortunately we got a few out of middle and got the momentum and we know how important is momentum in these games.
(On facing Piyush Chawla) He is a class bowler. I have played against me many many times. He always teased me with those googlies and it was about getting a few off the middle.
(On targeting the deep midwicket area) I think I am still trying to hit as straight as possible and when you pick up that length, and get into your swing, you go for that. But it comes down to hitting as straight as possible."
