Kuldeep Yadav (POTM): "(On enjoying the bowling today) I actually loved the batting from Shubman and Virat bhai. It was a special innings from them, and sometimes you feel awkward receiving the Player of the Match award, seeing the way Virat bhai batted. It was an outstanding innings.
(About his mindset while bowling today) I think, personally, I liked my rhythm, to be very honest. I was very calm in my rhythm and just trying to bowl whatever I felt like bowling. I was varying the pace, and my variations were superb. I was just reading the batters and trying to understand where they were going to hit me. Yeah, I felt really, really good in my rhythm.
(On the importance of today's performance) I mean, it always feels nice when you enjoy your bowling, and that’s when you achieve your best. When you’re enjoying your bowling, and you’re a bit relaxed as well, your performance comes at its peak. So yeah, sometimes you need a bowling spell like this to get that confidence back, and definitely, it helps you grow your confidence.
(Road ahead and the preparations behind such a performance) I still believe there’s a lot to improve as a spinner. I believe rhythm is all about your flow, your bowling flow. When you’re comfortable and you’re in a good flow, then everything looks so good. I personally feel there’s still a lot of room to improve, and yeah, I’m going to stick with the same rhythm. That’s the most important thing. Even when I play any format, you just feel comfortable when you’re in your rhythm and in your flow.
(Regarding his favourite football team doing well) Yeah, we’re doing really well. If you look at the standings, in terms of our league position, we are number one. And obviously, the style of play that we talk about at Barcelona, we are really, really up to the mark. So, obviously, I’m an FC Barcelona fan, and we’re doing very well in that. The most important thing is to enjoy the football, and I think most of the guys in the Barcelona squad are doing that."

Shubman Gill (India Captain): "[Is this one of the innings to remember?] When I got out, I thought, I should have finished the game and be there at the end but a very satisfying innings for me.
[Favourite shot that he hit off Alzarri Joseph] Probably the drive off the front foot. That was the favourite.
[On Kuldeep Yadav] Someone like him, especially if he's bowling the way he has. He's a wicket-taker for us. He's proved it again and again. He broke the opening partnership, got us back in the game and at one point, it looked like that they will get 340-350 but from there to keep them under 300 was an outstanding effort from us.
[On batting with Kohli and the ferocity with which he's batting] Yeah, I mean he's batting superbly, enjoying the game a lot more. Playing with freedom and I think those are the facts of his batting. He always had the game and the ability to clear the boundary at will and I think he's doing that right now.
[You leave someone like Kohli alone?] Yeah, I mean someone like him, who has won so many games for the country. Who has done it over and over again, you just let him play however he wants to play on the day because when he plays well, he can win matches for you.
[On playing with 8 batting options] Yeah, ideally yes. We would want an 8th batting option. Someone who can contribute 25-30 runs. We have seen many times, we had been in situations before where we have been in good positions where we were not able to get scores we wanted. So number 8 becomes a crucial position for us. But we are open to trying different combinations and seeing what works for us."
