On that note, it is time for us to say goodbye. Do join us tomorrow for UAE Women vs Indonesia Women. Our coverage starts at 7:00 PM IST, 5:30 PM local time. For now, this is Darpan Tikiya signing off on the behalf of co-commentator Akshay Bhide, stats-guy Aman and scorer Yogesh Kumar. Adios!
Hong Kong Women are not yet eliminated, but will have to do something special to turn things around from here. Remember, they will be knocked out if Pakistan Women win on Saturday.
From a team point of view, India Women will feel happy about having qualified for the semifinals before their clash against Pakistan Women on Saturday, September 5. However, they'd still want to iron out some cracks before heading to the knockouts. Will we see Fulmali get a chance to bat higher? Will we see the middle order score big runs? Will any of Arundhati, Kamalini, Renuka or Radha get go? Or will India stick to the same combination? Plenty to look forward to.
An evening that belonged to Smriti Mandhana. She is now the leading run-getter as well as the leading ton-getter in Women's International Cricket.
Harmanpreet Kaur (India Women Captain): "[Is their middle-order a concern?] Well, I think I'll start with the positives first. I think Smriti and Shafali batted really well. That's why we wanted to bat first. It's about spending time in the middle and getting used to the conditions. We did well to get close to 200. And after that, the bowlers did a great job.
[Are they sorted with the playing XI or will we see any changes going ahead?] We are pretty much sorted. But still we have one more day to think about whether we want to change something. For now, we are pretty much sorted.
[How does it feel to have Smriti and Deepti in the side, who keep performing consistently?] I think as a captain, I'm grateful that these players play for my country. It's good to see someone like Smriti play that kind of crucial innings for the team. And Deepti stepping up when the team needs.
[On Hong Kong] One thing which I liked about them is how they celebrate. That's a great learning. When you play hard cricket, you forget to enjoy and celebrate those moments. When they are playing, they keep enjoying and celebrating. It's a great learning from them."
Smriti Mandhana [POTM]: "(Would she like to dedicate the century to someone?) I don't have anyone on my mind. There have been a lot of things here and there. I think I'd dedicate it to my family only, but as such I did not have it in my mind.
(On preparing for this game) We were not really aware of the bowlers. We watched a few videos here and there. But when you come up against an opposition you do not know, you have to forget whatever cricket you have played. You just adjust to the pace
(On facing full tosses) Full tosses are not my strength. Today, I got away with few. Any top order batter will say that. Sometimes full tosses go for a six, sometimes they get you out."
Player of the Match: Smriti Mandhana
Natasha Miles (Hong Kong Women Captain): "[The positives] I think we did bowl well in phases. Smriti played well and showed what they are capable of. We still have lots of learnings. I think in the first 10-12 overs, we had the game in our hands.
[In which areas would they have done better?] I think just executing our plans. But we knew we were playing a world-class opposition. We had to bowl well.
[On the experience of playing against India] We needed more exposure and get more confidence. As you are climbing up and playing teams above you, you will gain confidence.
[What did you learn from India tonight?] Quite a lot. The bravery. I was just talking with Harman about the bravery. Their ability to go out there and play those shots from ball one. The bravery is what we will learn from them going forward."
