That's it from all of us here for this match. Do tune into our next BBL match commentary as our team takes you through all the live action. This is Nikhil Kulkarni, along with my colleagues, Kingshuk Kusari and Sourya Chowdhury signing off.
Nathan McAndrew is the man of the match.
Nikhil: Tanveer Sangha and Chris Green bowled well for Sydney Thunder to restrict the Hurricanes. Tanveer Sangha has taken 15 wickets in this series so far and he is at the top of the wicket taker's list. Hurricanes remain at third place in the point's table and they have lost their 2nd consecutive game chasing. They will need to regroup and think about their strategy
Nikhil: Sydney Thunder moves to the top of the table with 22 points. Khwaja played aggressively at top of the order scoring 49 off 33 balls. Sydney Thunder was struggling at halfway stage of the game with D'Arcy Short taking 3 wickets. Alex Ross and Ben Cutting got together and played some aggressive cricket after taking the power surge to get Thunder to 167 which was enough for them today to win this game.
Nikhil: D'Arcy Short again couldn't get going. McDermott played well at the top of the order but couldn't get a huge score. Hurricanes needed a partnership and someone to take them through the chase but it never happened.
Nikhil: Disappointment for Hurricanes. At the half stage mark, the game was in balance with the Hurricanes getting the Bash Boost point. Chris Green got Malan with an excellent yorker and the wickets started to fall at regular intervals which put a dent in the chase for Hurricanes.

0 Full length ball on the leg stump, tries to smash this one but misses and that's the end of the innings. Sydney Thunder win by 39 runs!
19.6 Nathan McAndrew to Scott Boland
NB No Ball called from the umpire for the height. Slower short ball and Boland was completely deceived by that one.
