Gorakhpur Lions successfully broke their three-match losing streak and jumped to the third position with this comfortable victory over the defending champions, Kashi Rudras. And the Rudras now have a lot to figure out after their three-match winning streak is broken by a spirited Gorakhpur Lions performance, which outclassed them in all three departments.

(On his mystery spin) I used to watch Varun Chakravarthy's videos, and I wanted to be a mystery spinner since the start of my career.
(On being in Punjab Kings' camp) I gained a lot of experience in the PBKS campaign, and it is a good opportunity to show what I have learnt there.
(On his aim and target with the ball) My target is always to take wickets and put the opposition team under pressure.
(On missing out on his 5-fer) The catch was the other fielder's but in the moment I thought I can take that catch, but these things happen.

Aryan Juyal (Gorakhpur Lions' Captain): (On his feelings) There is always pressure on a big platform like this. As I said at the toss, it is important to stick to your processes. Some days, your decisions go your way and some days they don't. It's important to be neutral towards results.
(On the turn) We expected the ball to turn, but it turned more than expected. It was easier to bat with the target in mind. Our openers ensured that they knocked off the extra runs at the start and from there on we needed to see the game through.
(On Vishal's performance) He has been bowling well, and he never backs down in difficult situations. That's the spirit I need from my team."

Vasu Vats (Gorakhpur Lions): " (On his performance) It is always good to bowl well and contribute. There was some help with the new ball and I was trying to use that help to my advantage. When I came back to bowl in the final over, I used the longer boundary to my advantage and it worked to my favor.
(On their plans with the bat) We tried to be aggressive at the start. The idea was to put their bowlers under pressure during the powerplay so that getting to the target becomes easier.
(On the feeling after the win) We have a great atmosphere in the team. We fumbled a bit from the momentum point of view in the previous game and hence today we tried to do our best when it came to keeping our calm and following the process. "
