Milestone
That's a wrap from our side as well. Jaffna Kings won the inaugural game by 24 runs.

We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and Scorer/Analyst Chandan Kumar Singh, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the next game of LPL which is about to start.✌✌

Thisara Perera (Jaffna Kings Skipper): "I trusted my bowlers. The pitch was sticky and I thought we could defend this total. I have confidence in my bowlers. No pressure of being defending champions. Roshan. Just going with the flow. We have to take it one game at a time."
Kusal Mendis: (Galle Gladiators Skipper): "I think the opening partnership was good and then after 8 overs we lost our way. I think we should have chased this down. It was easy to bat with the new ball. Later it was difficult and tough to bat with the old ball. No regrets in chasing. We didn't bat well."
Dunith Wellalage(Player of the match): "Tried to keep it simple and got the rewards. The wicket was turning and I did my normal bowling."
Dunith Wellalage has been awarded the Player of the Match.
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony.
