23:52 IST| Chasing a mammoth total of 239 runs was never going to be an easy task. Middlesex put up a good show in the first 10 overs but failed to carry on the momentum and ended up losing this encounter by 29 runs.

Earlier in the day Glamorgan won the toss and elected to bat first. Glamorgan lost a couple of early wickets but it didn't matter as it was just Colin Ingram and Chris Cooke's show today. This duo took the bowlers for cleaners.

Chris Cooke displayed his beast mode and played a splendid knock of 113* runs off 41 balls. Colin Ingram didn't stay back as he played a magnificent knock of 92* runs. This duo glued a huge partnership of 187 runs for the 4th wicket and helped Glamorgan to post a mammoth total of 238 runs.

Blake Cullen was the pick of the bowlers for Middlesex as he scalped 2 wickets and gave away 23 runs in his four-over spell.

While chasing a target of 239 runs. Middlesex openers came with all guns blazing right from the word go. Skipper Stephen Eskinazi and Joe Cracknell were just toying away with the bowlers. They took Middlesex to the three figures mark in just 8.2 overs.

The openers glued a mighty partnership of  146 runs in just 74 balls. In the 12th over Joe Cracknell fell prey to Peter Hatzoglou after playing a fine knock of 77 runs off 42 balls. Stephen Eskinazi (59 off 33) followed him in the very next over and Glamorgan dragged back the game at the right moment.

The boundaries started draining out once the openers departed. The required run-rate was piling up and pressure was building up on the Middlesex batters. The wickets started tumbling down for them as they were trying to go hard at every ball. The target was huge and nothing was going Middlesex's way in the second half of the Innings. In the end, they lost the encounter by 29 runs.

From the bowling point of view, Peter Hatzoglou was the pick of the bowlers as he scalped a couple of wickets and gave away just 28 runs in his 4-over spell. Prem Sisodiya chipped in with a couple of wickets.

19.6 J McIlroy to J Davies
1 Fuller delivery on the stumps and Davies pushes it towards mid off and collects a quick single. That's the end of the game and Glamorgan beat Middlesex by 29 runs.
19.5 J McIlroy to R Higgins
1 Banged in short this time and Higgins pulls it towards deep backward square leg for a single.
19.4 J McIlroy to R Higgins
6 SIXXX!!!! In the slot and Higgins sends it over the ropes. A slot ball from McIlroy on the stumps, Higgins takes his front leg out of the way and tonks it over the long on fence for a maximum.
200 comes up for Middlesex, but it's a bit too late for them as they need 38 runs more to win this game in just 3 balls.
19.3 J McIlroy to R Higgins
4 FOUR!!! Length delivery on the pads, Higgins gets low and heaves it behind square in the leg side for a boundary. Falls just short of the ropes. 200 up for Middlesex.
