That was a quick game in Bristol in the T20 Blast. Gloucestershire, at the halfway stage were looking like chasing an uphill task after getting bundled out for 121 and not batting their quota of 20 overs. However, the bowlers, particularly Duan Jansen, had other ideas. The hosts gave it their all and spirited bowling effort saw them bowl out Warwickshire for a mere 74 in 14.4 overs to get the win and start their season on a high.
That's all we have for you from this game. This is Ajay Pal Singh signing off on behalf of my colleagues Ashok Dayma and Mohammad Anab. Good night and take care!!!
Due to a technical issue from the broadcaster's end, we were unable to capture the comments from Duan Jansen.
Player of the Match: Duan Jansen
1:54 AM IST, 9:24 PM Local Time: A horror show with the bat from Warwickshire and they have been bundled out for 74 in 14.4 overs. Duan Jansen starred with the ball on his T20 Blast debut with a four-wicket haul to set the tone. Three wickets for Craig Miles and two from Marchant de Lange gave Gloucestershire a thumping win in their campaign opener.
Earlier in the game, Warwickshire won the toss and opted to bowl first. The decision seemed right at that stage as the hosts lost D'Arcy Short in the first over.

In reply, Alex Davies and Rob Yates got off to a sedate start. In the third over, Davies was caught by Marchant de Lange off Duan Jansen.

Duan Jansen picked up four wickets, Craig Miles got three and Marchant de Lange picked up two wickets. Woakes was run out as the match ended quickly.
W WICKET!! It is all over!!!! Back of a length outside off. Taz Ali rocks back and looks to flat-bat it down the ground, gets a top edge and it goes high in the air. Jack Taylor settles under it and takes a comfortable catch. Warwickshire have been bowled out for 74, and lose by 47 runs while chasing 122.
14.3 Craig Miles to Taz Ali
0 Falls short!!! Full and outside off. Ali smashes it to short extra cover. Falls just in front of Jack Taylor at the aforementioned position.
14.2 Craig Miles to Usman Tariq
1 IN THE AIR & PUT DOWN!!!! Oliver Price is the culprit!!!! Fuller length on the off stump, angling in. Tariq looks to smash it down the ground. Gets it off the inside half of his bat. Goes high in the air. Price moves to his right from square leg and drops it. Single taken.
