That's all for the coverage of this game, do join us for the 14th match of the CPL, sharp at 4 am tomorrow. Until then, it's a ta-ta and a goodbye from me, Anurag Dasgupta and my co-commentator, Arjun Bhalla..
Roston Chase (stepping in for skipper Faf du Plessis)
" I was happy with my performance, I felt like I was hitting the ball well on a difficult surface, and we didn't even talk during the break, but the guys really came out all guns blazing, so credit must go to the bowlers for the effort and the spinners came in to finish it off."
Nicholas Pooran | Warriors skipper:
"I was happy about restricting them, but the bowling perforamnce was not upto the mark after 2 wickets in the first over, and we gave too many free hits. In and after the powerplay the other team bowled really well, and credit to them. We have been inconsistent in ticking boxes and we need to get it all together at the same time."
Roston Chase | Man of the Match:
"I was just seeing the ball, hitting the ball and it paid off. (Favourite shot) Cover drive, I am always known for playing the cover drive, played one in T20 cricket, a classical shot like that."
The pitch was on the slower side, but there were hardly any demons in it. And a target of 150 shouldn't have been too difficult to chase, but some tight bowling from the Kings and some lazy looking shot from the Warriors batters resulted in this thumping win for du Plessis's side.
Chasing a modest total of 150, Kings were jolted with four early breakthroughs and they eventually never recovered from it. Skipper Pooran played a lone hand and scored a brisk 26-ball 41, but once he perished, the Warriors fell like a pack of cards.
In the end, the Kings were bundled out for 98 and fell well short of the designated target. Jeavor Royal was the pick of the bowlers, scalping 3 wickets for just 19 runs and he was the chief destroyer upfront.
Hang round, presentation ceremony coming up in a while.
That's it, the match has ended and the Saint Lucia Kings have comprehensively won this match by 51 runs. It was a thorough professional performance from the Kings who were simply outstanding with the ball in hand.
W BOWLED HIM. Tahir could not last two balls. Kings nail a massive win over Guyana Amazon Warriors by 51 runs. Terrific slower one at length. Tahir goes for the sweep, but plays it too early and misses as it goes through to rattle the stump. The Warriors get ALLOUT for 98.. this should be a pleasing victory for Faf du Plessis and his Kings.
16.4 K Williams to O Smith
1 Length delivery on the off-stump. Smith looks to hoick but doesn't connect. He hits it down to long-on for a single.
16.3 K Williams to O Smith
