11:43 PM IST: Ratnagiri Jets hold their nerves as they won the match by 12 runs. Captain Kazi with his brilliant bowling performance took his team off the shore. Wicketkeeper-batsman Mandar Bhandari who played a brilliant inning of 74 runs in 39 wickets was the big wicket that Eagles lost at the wrong juncture of the match with his captain falling down in the same over. Kaushal Tambe and Dhanraj Shinde hit some big shots but not enough to take their team on the winning side.
After the brilliant performance with the bat Ratnagiri Jets were spot on with the balls. Divyang Hinganekar got only One with but bowled superbly giving away only 27 runs in his 4-over spell. Azim Kazi got the crucial wickets of Rahul Tripathi and Mandar Bhandari in the same over and then just gave away 5 runs in his last over which changed the game for the Eagles completely.
Dhiraj Phatangare batted brilliantly hitting 70 off 51 deliveries, and Preetam Patil's 33 off 19 deliveries gave the power hitting in the middle. 63 runs partnership between them for the third wicket shaped the inning for Ratnagiri Jets. In the end, it was Kiran Chormale's 18 off 5 deliveries that gave the perfect end to the Ratnagiri innings.
