A thumping win here for the Eagle Nashik Titans as they beat Solapur Royals by 82 runs. A comprehensive bowling effort from the Nashik-based franchise derailed Solapur's batting line-up as they registered their second consecutive win of the season.
After winning the toss Royals opted to bowl first and after a good start with the ball they lost their way at the end of the innings. Dhanraj Shinde's blistering knock of 42 propelled Nashik to a total of 161 in their 20 overs. Sunil Yadav was a pick of the bowlers for the Royals with the figures of 2 for 20 in his 4 overs.
In the chase of 162, no one looked comfortable against the mighty Nashik spinners as they were bundled out on the score of 79 in 16.3 overs. Prashant Solanki & Ashay Palkar were terrific for the Titans who picked up 3 & 2 wickets respectively.
