That is all from this thrilling contest. Signing off, this is Nikhil Kalla alongside co-commentators Abhishek Sharma and Mohammad Anab, with scorer-analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Thank you for joining us, and we will see you shortly for the next big game. Cheers for now!
Next up, the stakes skyrocket as the India Champions take on the West Indies Champions in less than an hour. It is a do-or-die blockbuster for India, they must win to snatch the fourth spot from the Windies, while a defeat will see them crash out of the tournament.
South Africa Champions pulled off a stunning late comeback to defeat England by 9 runs, sealing the top spot on the table and keeping their winning streak alive. England looked in absolute control by the 16th over, but a spectacular collapse turned the game on its head. Despite the narrow loss, England remains safe in second place thanks to a superior Net Run Rate to those below them.
AB de Villiers (South Africa Champions Captain): "(On picking up a nail-biting win) Credit to England for putting up a strong fight as well. I thought they bowled pretty well and restricted you to a total that could have been 220 or 230 at one stage. They pulled things back nicely and then put your bowlers under pressure during the first six overs. You had to think on your feet and keep changing the bowling plans. Dawid Malan batted well, and the others played nicely around him.

(On Proteas death bowling) I'm very happy with our death bowling. England put us under pressure, particularly during the first six overs, and we had to think on our feet and change our bowling plans quite often. Dawid Malan played well, and the other batters supported him nicely. So, all in all, I'm very happy with how our bowlers pulled things back and restricted England at the end.

(Do you feel that 204 was enough on this surface?) I thought we were slightly above par. It looked like a 190-run wicket, perhaps close to 200, but not a total we could feel completely comfortable defending. We knew we could have scored 220, and we also knew England would try to make up the difference during the first six overs, which they did. They came out aggressively, and that approach worked for them initially. They got ahead in the game, so we needed to come up with a couple of new plans, which eventually worked out for us.

(On him and JP Duminy scoring runs) The batting is still there, but I wasn't feeling quite as fresh in the field tonight. The afternoon game took its toll and drained quite a bit of fluid from the body, so I was feeling that. The rest of the guys are great, though, Nick. I must say, they're all still spring chickens! Our batting lineup has been scoring runs, and we were better today. We had only five specialist batters, along with a lot of all-rounders, so we knew we had to take responsibility during the first 10 overs. That was the discussion beforehand: when we get set, we need to extend our partnerships. We did that very well and allowed the all-rounders to play around us."
Ravi Bopara (England Champions Captain): "[Thoughts on the loss] Yeah, I thought the game was pretty much over once Moeen and Malan were going at that stage. But the game can get away from you quickly towards the end. I thought the over Parnell bowled, taking Mo's wicket, and then Imi T came on and bowled a really, really good over at the other end. After that, the game sort of drifted away from us very quickly.

[On the team's approach towards the chase] Yeah, I'm very, very happy with that chase. A score of 200 here feels about par. You know, that's roughly where the scores are expected to be. But for the boys to get that close against a good South African attack, which I think is a really, really good bowling unit, we've done pretty well to get as close as we did.

[About playing Australia Champions tomorrow] Yeah, it's a big one tomorrow. Another day game, so hopefully the boys recover well. I feel like they're getting into some good form now and finding their rhythm in the competition. Hopefully, we can come out strongly tomorrow, beat the Aussies and get into the semi-finals."
Wayne Parnell [South Africa Champions]: "(On death bowling) Well, I feel pride in putting in such a performance with the ball at the end, and I have thrived on this throughout my career in such moments.

(On what he enjoyed more) My batting, as earlier my swing of the bat wasn't right but it all came together today.

(On winning a tight game) The management has created a really nice and happy atmosphere and our side has been backing it up with a good bit of cricket."
