So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj, my co-commentator, Deepak Prakash, and the scorer for this game, Chandan Kr Singh. Do rest up and join us tomorrow for a lot of cricketing action from around the world including the ILT20 game between Dubai Capitals and Gulf Giants.
Alex Hales | Player of the Match: "Awesome start to the tournament to get a win like that. The bowlers were outstanding. There was a bit of movement early on but good through that. Play good shots and let them come to us. It has been an enjoyable year. Was nice to get a score after bagging two ducks in the Big Bash."
Colin Munro | Desert Vipers skipper: "Excellent start. We swung the new ball beautifully and were excellent with the ball up front. The attitude and field ferocity was superb. It was difficult to omit Mark Wood. Actually, I loved it(About captaincy). We are a group with experience. I'll go with the simple solution and permit the bowlers to carry out their duties. They've played enough cricket. Alex Hales and Billings were outstanding the way they finished it."
Moeen Ali | Sharjah Warriors skipper: "Obviously didn't score enough runs. The pitch wasn't as easy as they made it look. You obviously want to be positive and express yourself. The wickets have done a little bit. But need to be clear in being aggressive or batting a bit more. We have spinners who haven't played so far. Obviously a bit short on seamers but we have the side for Sharjah."
Alex Hales bags the 'Super 4s of the Match' award.
Time for the Post-match presentation!
WHAT A COMPREHENSIVE PERFORMANCE FROM ALEX HALES AND DESERT VIPERS! The bowlers set up the victory even though Joe Denly and Mohammad Nabi took Sharjah Warriors to a respectable 145-5. Desert Vipers also put themselves in early trouble as Rohan Mustafa and Colin Munro got out through a couple of soft shots. However, the duo of Sam Billings and Alex Hales settled down and then accelerated gradually. Billings took on Karthik Meiyappan while Alex Hales took a liking to Chris Woakes. Billings fell one short of his fifty but Hales remained unbeaten till the end to take his team through with seven wickets and 20 balls to spare.

Not the best start for the Sharjah Warriors as they have conceded two heavy defeats to kick off the campaign. The batting unit, in particular, hasn't come up to the party so far. A few changes might be necessary to freshen up the side.
16.4 J Siddique to A Hales
4 FOUR!!! Hales finishes the game in style!!! Short of a length ball on the off and Hales on the back foot slaps it hard as the ball past over the bowler and races away for a boundary in a flash. Desert Vipers won by 7 wickets with 20 balls to spare.
16.3 J Siddique to S Rutherford
1 Good length ball outside the off and Rutherford works it to covers for a couple of runs.
