1:19 AM IST, 8:49 PM Local Time | Yorkshire dominate Durham in all 3 departments of the game to win this encounter by 7 wickets! A crushing defeats for the hosts and Yorkshire take home the points and the W!
Durham won the toss and elected to bat first, in hindsight, that may have been the wrong decision as Yorkshire led by birthday boy Jafer Chohan's 5/14 in 3.4 overs bundled Durham out for 107 runs in 16.4 overs to take an upper hand at the half-way mark!
Come the chase, the Yorkshire openers Malan and Lyth took a measured approach to establish a 64 run opening stand to put Yorkshire in cruise control. A bit of a lean period was awaiting the batters as Sowter and de Leede combined to dismiss both openers and stem the flow of runs.
Durham were slowly managing to up the required rate during Wharton and Masood's partnership but Wharton broke through the shackles before losing his wicket. However, that did not deter Donovan Ferreira as he came in and smacked 12 runs in 4 balls to hand the victory to his team!
Yorkshire will face off against Lancashire in an effort to do a double with them and will go into that game with confidence. Durham on the other hand will have to recover quickly from this defeat to get back on the winning track!

2 Those are the winning runs! Length delivery, on the stumps, Ferreira with a big shot towards deep forward square, and the fielder at the ropes pulls it back in but the batters manage to pick up a couple and seal victory!
