Coming in to chase a target of 157 runs. B-Love Kandy were taken off to a flier by their openers Chandimal and Zaman (28). The duo stitched a 69-run partnership batting for the first eight overs and found the ropes with ease. Zaman had a soft dismissal but Chandimal carried on and went on to post 48 runs but was run out as he was a bit too eager to be on strike.
After that, things slowed down a bit for B-Love Kandy. However, the Dambulla Aura bowlers gave away a bit too many extra runs which kept the B-Love Kandy's score ticking along despite runs not coming off the blade. At the back end, Mathews (28*) and Asif (16*) were able to get B-Love Kandy across the line with nine balls to spare.
