Wanindu Hasaranga along with Dinesh Chandimal led the recovery work. Both stitched a 35-run stand between them before Hasaranga got cleaned up on 19. Angelo Mathews looked good at the crease for his 26 before getting dismissed.
Chandimal fought hard but he lacked support as the B-Love Kandy kept on losing wickets from the other end. Chandimal kept finding boundaries at regular intervals and brought up his fifty. With 43 required from the last four overs, Chandimal dragged one back onto the stumps on 50. The Aura bowlers wrapped up the tail quickly to knock over B-Love Candy on 142 to win the game by 20 runs. Dhananjaya de Silva was outstanding with the ball. He registered figures of 4/6 in his two overs as it helped them defend the total successfully.
