Hari Nishanth: We execeuted the things really well today. We can go back as a happier side. We decided to open the innings with Vaidhya, which proved to be absolutely correct for our team today. My job was just to keep the scoreboard ticking.
PLAYER OF THE MATCH IS VISHAL VAIDHYA: Today I played really well, I was able to time the bowl right from the middle. The surface played a bit slower earlier on, so then I adjust myself accordingley. Nishaanth and I had a very good partnership.
M. Mohammed: The surface played on a slightly slower side earlier on the innings. Anirudha injury restricts us from getting that good start. We lost wickets on constant basis which hurted us as well. Although we finished up on an average score. The surface favors the pacers a lot. We should have bowled well. Anirudha is feeling good now and he seems to be fit and available for the next game.

POST-MATCH SUMMARY: This match has gone into complete favor of one team right from the toss and the first ball and that team is Dindigul Dragons. They won the toss and decided to bowl first on this slower wicket. Team ITT comes on to bat and lose their first wicket in the form of their skipper Anirudha. After which S Aravind provided some sort of stability to their batting by scoring a crucial 32 runs off just 23 deliveries. Team ITT kept on losing wickets on a regular intervals which caused them into losing their momentum. With the help of Crist and Mohammed’s short cameos they yet post a below par total on the scoreboard. Dindigul’s bowling today remained in the spot light. Each and every bowler from their side balled great spells. M Silambarasan took 3 wickets with Both Suthesh and Nishaanth took 2 wickets each.

Coming on to Dindigul’s batting then honestly there is nothing much to say about that as they lost only 1 single wicket in this entire chase. Vishal Vaidhya played an outstanding knock here with scoring an unbeaten 84 runs. Mani Bharath comes in later in the innings and scored an unbeaten 38  runs.

And with this the chase becomes a mere cake walk for team Dindigul. They completely outplayed ITT bowler’s today. And in the end team Dindigul Dragons wins this match convincingly by 9 wickets.
