10:50 PM IST, 7:20 PM Local Time: After a fantastic display with the bat Qalandars bowled perfectly till the end and beats Cape Town Samp Army by 8 runs. The blistering Knock of Seifert came prevailing for the Qalandars.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Durban Qalandars got off to a blistering start to the inning and left Cape Town Samp Army bowlers with no place to hide. The opening partnership added 74 runs to the powerplay and ended up putting 87 runs on the board. Tim Seifert's brilliant knock of 49 runs in 22 deliveries came to an end after Rahman got his wicket. Zazai also played an inning of 38 runs in 25 deliveries.
Cape Town Samp Army bowlers were nowhere in the frame in the initial overs, but a great comeback by Tom Curran and Rahman helped them to make a comeback.
Chasing the mammoth target of 127 runs Cape Town's start was not that good they lost their first wicket in the powerplay. Gurbaz and Rajapaksa added quick 30 runs in the board but soon Gurbaz got out in the deep. Cape Town lost 4 wickets adding only 3 runs on the board which broke the momentum for Cape Town.
Some serious hitting came in the end by Janat and Skipper Parthiv Patel as they managed to take the game deep. With 27 runs required in the last 6 deliveries, Cape Town Samp Army falls short by 8 runs.
