We practice a lot here so we know what pace we should bowl at and what are the lengths to be hit. Other teams traveling here take time to adapt so its our home advantage as spinners. Even Moeen and Theekshana know what to bowl. As a bowling unit everyone is doing their job. Pathirana is bowling well. Batters also are providing a good start in the powerplay. Its an overall good teamwork.
If I go out to bat down the order, the public screams for Mahi bhai. If I go up the order, they would wait for me to get dismissed. So I am happy with what's going on and happy with the team's performance."

MS Dhoni (Chennai Super Kings Captain): "Well, it turned a lot in the second half. Our spinners seam a lot so I expected it. I was not so sure about the score. I wanted the bowlers to bowl well and did well. In the end, 167 was a good score. Our batters could have done better. Some of the shot selection could have been better and we want to improve on that.
Good thing that Moeen and Jaddu got to bat. Important everyone gets a chance and with the last passage of play and tournament everyone should get a hit. Everyone knows their role. I would have loved to play Santner, but with only four foreigners and impact player rule, it's difficult to get him in. I sometimes get confused by the Impact Player rule.
Ruturaj is batting well and he knows his role. His awareness is there and if Devon goes for it he adapts. Good to see him adapting to the conditions. I want players who will adapt to the different requirements of the team. My job is to go out there and hit the balls into the stands. That's what I have told them.
