That's it from our end from the broadcast of this match. Do join us for the next match between the Warriors and the Giants. For now, this is me Ajay Ahire signing it off along with my co-commentators Ninnad Dixit and Ayan Chatterjee. Until then stay safe and stay cool.....
Thisara Perera: "We are trying a few new players for tomorrow's match. It's a good chance for the youngsters. Anything is possible in cricket, so we always try to give our best. I have got five bowlers, so I'm not bowling. Hopefully, I will bowl in Hambantota where the pitch will be suitable for me."
Angelo Mathews: "I thought we have been not firing right throughout, but nothing to panic. We have one more game left and we have to win that. We wanted to shift the positions to give Banton a chance and let him bat down the order. Same as Kusal, but I'm sure Kusal (Perera) will fire soon."

Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Player of the Match: "It was about getting the team over the line. For me, it was about the two points we got tonight. Hopefully, we can continue this in the knockout round as our players are clicking at the right time."

Tom Kohler-Cadmore is the player of the match here, for his brilliant innings of 92 runs from 55 balls.

That's the end of the match here and an absolute one-sided victory for the Jaffna Kings. Colombo Stars will be disappointed with their performance hereafter that brilliant win against Kandy. Today they got the proper hammering from the Jaffna Kings.

Chasing 194 was always going to be difficult for the Stars as the Jaffna Kings bowling line-up was in a sublime form. Skipper Angelo Mathews lost his wicket early in the innings as he toe ends a fuller-length delivery straight into the hands of Theekshana. soon followed by him Priyanjan lost his wicket thanks to some lazy running in the middle. Then Seals gets the breakthrough on the first ball of his spell as he picked up the wicket of Dhanjaya de Silva on the score of 11. The experiment of trying Perera in the middle order has backfired as he can't make an impact here.

In form, Chandimal lost his wicket on a loosener and then the rest of the lower order was blown away by the Jaffna kings bowlers. With the ball, Sales got the most number of wickets as he picked up the 4 wickets in his 3 overs spell. The Lankan young leg spinner Viyaskanth picked up 3 wickets and broke Colomo's middle order. Theekshana was brilliant at the start as he picked up a couple of wickets early in the innings, so collective batting and bowling performance by the Jaffna as they are cementing their top spot.

Ayan: A hammering by 102 runs by Jaffna over Colombo. The Stars' NRR has nose-dived and it's below the Kandy Warriors now. The next game is important featuring Kandy Warriors up against the Dambulla Giants. Kandy is in a must-win situation there. If Kandy wins, tomorrow's game between Kandy and Colombo will be a knockout game. No two ways about it.

W BOWLED! All over here. Seales finishes things off in style here. A yorker nails it at off-stump as Naveen misses it. You cannot expect Number 11 to do anything here. Seales with a 4fer as The Stars are bowled out for 91 runs. A massive win by 102 runs for the defending champions Jaffna Kings who will top the group now.
