Milestone
It's time to shift our focus to the other tournaments and series going on around the world in our beautiful sport. We shall also secretly get excited for the KCL 2027 which is just 11 months away 😜.

On this note, I, Manan Mehta would like to take your leave on behalf of my colleagues Saptak Sanyal and Manish Bishnoi. Stay Happy. Stay Healthy. Stay Safe. Adios!!! ✌🏻
After 30 league games, 2 semifinals and fiery final we finally close the curtains on what has been yet another energetic Kerala Cricket League season. This tournament gave us many young sensations, many memorable moments and a NEW CHAMPION. The cricket depth of this state continues to mesmerize one and all and as fans we can hope and pray that many of these players get to play at the highest level.
Thrissur Titans taught all of us a very important lesson. It does not require you to have a big personality on your side to win a tournament or be successful. It requires a lot of hard work, effort and team bonding to pass the various tests of a competition and get across the line. As the 18-year-old Rohith KR said in his post-match interview, 27 members including the support staff and owners, stuck by each other and well, the result is a beautiful looking trophy.
MS Akhil walks up to the stage to collect the 'Winner's Trophy.' His team surrounds him in a flash as they dance in joy and celebration. It is time for snaps and smiles.
MS Akhil (Thrissur Titans Captain): "(On his feelings) Feeling very happy. I am captaining a side in the KCL for the first time. I am happy to be champion in the first time. I want to thank the Kerala Cricket Association for conducting such a wonderful tournament. I want to thank my management for having the faith in me.

(On the season) Definitely we had a good side and throughout the tournament, they did really well. We had some crunch situations where the bowlers did well. We came back in the final 10 overs because of our bowlers. The credit goes to the bowlers.

(You have MS in your name, your jersey number is 7 and there's a last over thriller. Is that a coincidence?) Actually I planned for it, it was in my mind for the last couple of days. I wanted to finish it with my bat and show my jersey. I did that.

(How is Shoun Roger?) He is in some problem. May be, he will have to undergo a surgery, the medical team is taking care of him."
MS Akhil, the Thrissur Titans' skipper collects the Rs. 30 Lakh cheque for being the champions.
Thrissur Titans cricketers are coming one-by-one to the stage for their champions medals.
Rohan Kunnummal (Calicut Globstars Captain): "[Reflections on the tournament] I think we played really well throughout the tournament. There were ups and downs, but we bounced back every time. I think that all the credit goes to the players and the support staff who supported from the outside. I have to mention our owners as well who kept us going. They had given us all the freedom to whatever we wanted. I also have to mention Sanjay bhai. When were out of the tournament almost, he texted our coach. 'Tell the boys to enjoy the game. Don't be emotional. Just focus on the process.' That really helped us in those crunch situations. Thanks to him. It has been a great tournament. Thanks to KCA. They have conducted really well. Thanks to the curators and all the support.

[On the team composition] I think they stepped up at the right times. Everyone contributed at the right time. Even the players who were outside the limelight. They were very keen to support. I have to mention, then I will have to mention everyone. Vignesh, Scaria myself, Varun. I think everyone played their part really well.

[Key take away] Key take away must should be to win the finals (laughs)"
