That's it from our live coverage of this game. This is Mohammad Anab signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Abhishek Sharma and our scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Cheers.
Tomorrow we have another double-header day in DPL. West Delhi Lions will take on the East Delhi Riders in the afternoon game while Outer Delhi Warriors will lock horns with Purani Dilli-6 in the evening match.
Central Delhi Kings have managed to pull off the highest successful chase of DPL 2026. They win by four wickets in the final over on the back of an extraordinary knock played by Yugal Saini. South Delhi Superstarz will be disappointed with themselves as they lose despite posting 220 on the scoreboard. Nothing is going right for them in this DPL season.
Yugal Saini (POTM): "(Disappointed at not being able to finish the chase) Yes, sir, absolutely. Whenever we're chasing, the plan is always to finish the game and come back unbeaten. Unfortunately, I couldn't do that today, so there is a little bit of disappointment. But next time, I'll try to finish the entire game.

(Confidence in his own ability) I've been trying to deliver for the team for quite a few matches, but it wasn't happening. Today, it finally happened, so I'm feeling really good and very confident. I'll try to continue finishing games for my team and hopefully help us win the title."
Player of the Match: Yugal Saini
Yash Dhull (Central Delhi Kings Captain): "(On his side's excellent chasing performance) Our simple plan is to go into every game thinking about scoring around 200–210, because the wicket has been playing really well here. And we have a lot of depth in our batting. For example, Yugal wasn't performing well in the first three or four matches, but at the same time, when he performed at the right time today, I think that's a sign of a good team—that new players keep coming in and performing in different matches.

And then Keshav Dabas also played an innings today. The situation they were in was handled very well by both of them, and both of them stayed till the end. So that's a very good thing for us and a positive sign.

(Thoughts on Money Grewal's bowling spell tonight) No, sir. If you look at Money's performance since last year, he's been doing the same thing consistently. It's nothing new for him, but it took him a little bit of time to get there. It's also very good for him that he's now leading the Purple Cap standings. I want him to continue this way, and if he keeps producing performances like this for the team, we'll win even more comfortably.

(On his team thriving under pressure) I think that's a sign of a good team—that you keep getting new performers. If the bowlers are having a slightly off day, the batters step up and say, "No problem, we'll give our 100 per cent and chase it down."

So that's the simple plan we've been playing with, and, touch wood, hopefully it continues this way."
