That is the end of the first game of the day. A rain-hit ten-over-per-side game has come to an end. Central Delhi Kings win two in two, thanks to Yash Dhull and Vansh Bedi's fiery knocks! We will be back with the 2nd game of the day soon. Switch tabs to get its updates. For now, this is me, AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator, Deepak Prakash and scorer, Sachin Yadav. We will meet again. Until then, it's cheers!
Vansh Bedi [POTM]: "[How is the heartbeat now? Normal?] Everything is normal now. At that time, it was beating hard.
[How was the feeling when wickets were falling at one end and you had too much to do?] I was nervous as well. I still thought that if I could stay till the end and get enough strike, I would be able to take this game deep. Thanks to God's grace, we won the game in the end.
[On taking down the bowlers at the end] They were going for the yorkers and nailing them, but I knew that plan. Once I got a couple of good hits, I was confident.
[On having to deal with Navdeep Saini in the last over] When Navdeep Saini came in, I was already very confident there."
Player of the Match: Vansh Bedi
Yash Dhull [Central Delhi Kings Captain]: "[Congrats] Thank you so much!
[Feeling in the dugout when the wickets fell] We were quite dicey at that stage where the wickets fell. The run rate was just 10 runs per over, but it slipped to 16-18. We still had the belief in the team because we had good batters. Vansh Bedi then batted wonderfully to seal the deal. He is a good talent. We knew he had the ability.
[On the approach in a 10-over game] We were bowling first. So, whatever they posted, we were going to chase, be it 150 or anything else. Yeah, we had the confidence."
