That's it from this classic that we offered you in BBL 2022/23. We will be back tomorrow for more BBL action and stay tuned for more cricketing action across the globe in our network across formats. Switch tabs to catch more action. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my esteemed co-commentator Hitesh Peddurwar and scorer/analyst Manish Bishnoi. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Matt Renshaw(Player of the match) : "It's really tough, and really happy to get over the line. Matthew Kunhemann was very cool in the end and that helped me. A couple of balls I got on hit on the pads, Matthew was just asking me to run. That was an off-speed slower ball, I just waited and scooped it. I am not sure why Webster bowled the last over but he really bowled an excellent over today. MCG has big boundaries and my plan was to hit straight down the ground. Happy to get a win for the boys."
5:06 PM IST: Matt Renshaw has done it for the Heat as they win this game by 3 wickets off the final ball of the game. What a thriller we have had here at the MCG and it's heartbreak for Adam Zampa and his men as they go down here. The Heat wins this by the barest of margins.

Chasing 160 for the win, Brisbane Heat lost early wickets. Josh Brown, Marnus Labuschagne, and Sam Hain went for low scores. Usman Khawaja scored 14. Jimmy Peirson chipped in with 22 off 18 balls. But the star of the show was Matt Renshaw as he anchored this chase and remained unbeaten till the end. His unbeaten 90* off 56 balls with the help of 6 fours and 4 sixes helped his team get to the total in the final ball of the game. 7 extras were given by the fielding side as they get to the target in 20 overs.

Liam Hatcher picked up a couple of wickets alongside his skipper Adam Zampa. Nathan Coulter-Nile had one to his name and so did Clint Hinchliffe. Beau Webster and Luke Wood went wicketless today. But Webster almost stole it for his side at the death with the ball.

Earlier in the game, Melbourne Stars inserted to bat first and lost Joe Clarke early for 4 runs. Tom Rogers got a start as he scored 26. Beau Webster was involved in an important partnership with Nick Larkin. Webster chipped in with 36. James Seymour chipped in with a useful 13 off 6 balls. But the innings revolved around Nick Larkin. His 58 off 36 balls powered the Stars to a competitive score of 159/7 in 20 overs. 9 extras were given by the fielding side.

Michael Neser was the pick of the bowlers for the Brisbane Heat as he had exceptional figures of 4/25 in 4 overs. Matt Renshaw got a wicket with the only over he bowled. Spencer Johnson and James Bazley got a wicket each but went for runs as they were punished by Larkin. The two spinners Kuhnemann and Swepson went wicketless and kept things relatively tight. All in all, a decent bowling effort from the Heat.

So, a win for the Brisbane Heat over the Melbourne Stars by 3 wickets in this bottom-placed clash as the Heat keeps their slim hopes of qualification intact. The Stars' disappointing run continues.

Matt Renshaw has done it for his side as the Heat wins this thriller by 3 wickets off the final ball. Heartbreak for the Stars.

4 FOUR!!!!!! Wow!!!! What a finish that is!!! Renshaw has put up a show here. That is just brilliant, take a bow, Matt Renshaw 🙌🙌. Brisbane Heat have sneaked away with a victory from the jaws of defeat. Good length delivery on the leg stump line, Renshaw shuffles across and ramps it towards the right of the keeper. The fielder chases the ball and puts in the dive but the ball races down towards the ropes for four runs.
It's now 4 runs off 1 ball and 3 for the Super Over.
19.5 B Webster to M Renshaw
2 High up in the air and falls in the no man's land!!!! Fuller length delivery on the off-stump line, Renshaw tries to loft it straight over the bowler's head but gets it on the toe end of the bat and the ball falls in vacant mid-off region.
19.4 B Webster to M Renshaw
2 Fuller length delivery on the middle stump line, Renshaw drills it hard towards the long-on region and takes a couple of runs.
