Matt Renshaw(Player of the match) : "It's really tough, and really happy to get over the line. Matthew Kunhemann was very cool in the end and that helped me. A couple of balls I got on hit on the pads, Matthew was just asking me to run. That was an off-speed slower ball, I just waited and scooped it. I am not sure why Webster bowled the last over but he really bowled an excellent over today. MCG has big boundaries and my plan was to hit straight down the ground. Happy to get a win for the boys."

Michael Neser was the pick of the bowlers for the Brisbane
Heat as he had exceptional figures of 4/25 in 4 overs. Matt Renshaw got a
wicket with the only over he bowled. Spencer Johnson and James Bazley got a
wicket each but went for runs as they were punished by Larkin. The two spinners
Kuhnemann and Swepson went wicketless and kept things relatively tight. All in
all, a decent bowling effort from the Heat.
