So that's it for this game, this was me, Arjun Bhalla, signing off with, and on behalf of my co-commentators Akshay Bhide and Karthik Raj. Do join us in today's other BBL game's coverage that is between Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Stars.
Arjun: Marnus Labuchangne gets the Man of the Match award for his 49 runs, a wicket & a grab.
Arjun: Swepson and Laughlin were formidable on this pitch. The spinner used his variations superbly to take two scalps, whereas, Ben Laughlin was quite handy with his back of length slower balls. The duo helped gave nothing in the middle overs and the other bowlers wrapped up the things beautifully. So Heat stays alive and that race for qualification gets lit up further.
Arjun: Once Sam fell after trying to knock boundaries on every possible. The game was long gone for the Renegades. The Heat's bowlers used the pitch exceptionally. The ball was gripped and coming slowly in the second half of the game and Heat took full advantage of it.
Arjun: Firstly, they managed to post a score of 173 runs against the struggling batting of Renegades. While chasing a score of 174 runs, the Renegades lost their skipper cheaply and then followed by solid-looking Shaun Marsh. Sam Harper gave his side a little hope and the right-hander scored a 32-ball-57. He seemed rock-like solid but no other batsmen accompanied him in the chase.
Arjun: Brisbane Heat wins this game against the Renegades by 26 wins to keep the hopes for the playoff alive. What an effort by the Heat boys in this game.
18.4 Mark Steketee to Zak Evans
W OUT!!! Game over. Slower ball around off, Evans advances and drives and gets a thick outside edge to Lynn at short third man. With this Heat beat Renegades by 26 runs
