Down and out after being sent to bat first in the first 10 overs, Patriot brought the game back from the jaws of defeat, courtesy, a late charge by the captain, Sherfane Rutherford and Fabian Allen. Not only did they score over 120 runs in their last 10 overs, they showed incredible resilience, personified by the innings of Rutherford. Batting at 13 off 21 balls at a point of time, he dug in and bludgeoned his way through to score 53 off 43 to put the Patriots at a good place.
Coming into bowl, St Kitts controlled the pace of the chase throughout the second half of the game, stifling Barbados for momentum. The likes of Dominic Drakes, Fawad Alam and Fabian Allen worked in tandum to make sure that Barbados always had to chase at 10 RPO for most of their innings.
At the end, they wrapped the game with 21 runs to spare.

6 Cottrell has tried to avoid that swing for a while now trying to push it outside off. He has sprayed several wides in that process and this time he decides to bowl it straight at the stump. Walsh Jr finds this one in his arc and swings hard at it. Six runs over mid wicket.
