That's it for today. This is Ishan signing off with my co-commentator Ovaise along with our scorer/analyst Raju. We will be back with all the live updates. Until next time, Good Bye from our side, Take Care!!
Imad Wasim (Player of the match): "We were playing very good cricket, and happy to get over the line today!! It got a bit tricky at the end..Look I know Rovman Powell from a long time, he is a very talented bloke and we knew as long as he is there we will finish on the winning side."
Player of the match: Imad Wasim
23.57 IST: The rain ensures we don't go far and it means Jamaica Tallawahs won the contest by 6 runs via DL method. The dominance and winning streak (6 wins in 6 matches) of Barbados Royals in CPL 2022 got broken here. Earlier, the bowlers had set the tone for Jamaica, after getting invited to bat first with the contribution from de Kock (74) and skipper Miller (34) Barbados managed to put 146 runs on the board. In reply, Jamaica's openers gave them a flier of a start. The opening duo of Brandon King and Amir Jangoo added 53 runs on the board in just 4.3 overs before Jangoo (29)  was done by Obed McCoy. However, King on the other end continued his good work in the good company of Shamarh Brooks. The duo was looking good but after the end of 10 overs the uninvited rain visited the ground and play was stopped for about half an hour because of that. After the resumption, Brooks (18) got out in the very first over. Soon he was joined by King (46) in the dressing room. Before the dust could settle they lost another two in the form of Raymon Reifer (1) and Fabian Allen ( 1 off 10 balls). Jamaica lost Four wickets in quick succession after the rain break. They were 126/5 after the end of the 17th over with the skipper Rovman Powell (12* off 18 balls) and Imad Wasim (3* off 3 balls)  at the crease and the rain interrupted again but luckily for them, they were 6 runs ahead of the DL score (120). Thanks to the six hit by Powell in the 17th over. For Barbados, Jason Holder scalped three wickets while McCoy also bagged two. Jamaica would be delighted with their performances today and they will take a lot of confidence from it.
Ovaise: Still raining steadily at the venue!! The time is ticking away as we speak..
Ovaise: Jamaica Tallawahs are 6 runs ahead on the Duckworth and Lewis Stern method. The six which was hit by the newly appointed Vice Captain made all the difference..
Ishan: Bad news, the covers are coming on the ground as it has started drizzling again here.

Ishan: Jamaica could have chased down this very easily, had they played sensibly after the rain break.
